Follow Us
Doro Wot
Doro Wat is one of Ethiopia’s most iconic dishes — a richly spiced chicken stew simmered in berbere sauce and slow-cooked with onions, garlic, and hard-boiled eggs.
At ፪ ሐበሻ, we prepare it the traditional way, served hot with injera and bursting with deep, comforting flavors that reflect the soul of Ethiopian home cooking.
Kitfo
Kitfo is a beloved Ethiopian delicacy made from finely minced raw beef, seasoned with spiced butter (niter kibbeh) and mitmita chili powder.
At ፪ ሐበሻ, we serve Kitfo in its traditional forms: leb leb (lightly warmed), fully cooked, or raw — accompanied by kocho, gomen, and ayib for a well-rounded cultural plate.
Tibs
Tibs is a sizzling beef or lamb dish sautéed with onions, garlic, rosemary, and peppers — a staple in Ethiopian households.
Our chefs at ፪ ሐበሻ prepare Tibs with bold flavors and a smoky finish, served hot over injera and ideal for sharing.
Shiro
Shiro is a comforting stew made from powdered chickpeas or broad beans, simmered with onions, garlic, and berbere.
At ፪ ሐበሻ, it’s a go-to dish for both vegetarians and fasting days, often served bubbling hot in a clay pot with injera or rice.
Beyaynet Fasting
This is a colorful platter of vegan dishes traditionally served on fasting days. It includes lentils, split peas, beets, cabbage, and gomen — all beautifully arranged on injera.
፪ ሐበሻ’s Beyaynet is both nourishing and vibrant, offering a full experience of Ethiopia’s plant-based cuisine.
Habesha special
This Habesha special is richly spiced meat options like doro wat or tibs.
It’s a hearty and diverse platter that gives you a taste of Ethiopia’s culinary diversity in one serving.
